This is a beautiful .270 Winchester standard rifle, produced in 1950, grading in NRA very good to excellent condition.
The original bluing grades at 95% with very little wear anywhere, including the edges. There is a small rub on the bolt handle.
The bore of the 24" barrel shows no wear in the throat and only a few small, scattered pits. For these reasons, it rates a 9 out of 10 upon borescope inspection. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver.
The stock has its original finish with light wear; a few shallow dings and scratches. There is one small ding on the butt and a rubbed area around the front of the checkering panel. There are no deep gouges, cracks, splits, or repairs. The checkering is clean and in very good condition. The stock retains its factory-original steel buttplate with some wear.
