This is a very clean Featherweight rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, produced in 1956.
This rifle is in all original finishes and is in NRA very good to excellent condition. There are two small scuffs in the bluing. One on the right side of the barrel near the sight ramp and the other on the left side of the receiver between the two factory receiver sight holes (see closeup photos of each).There are no rust, pits, rubs or other noteworthy damages to the metal parts. The original stock finish is retained with light handling marks and some slight finish loss in places. There are no cracks or gouges in the stock. The stock has not been bedded and the checkering is original.
