These rifles were built in the Winchester custom shop and are extremely rare, with factory features including:
- Externally adjustable trigger
- Adjustable firing pin stop screw
- Receiver equipped with stripper clip slot
- 26" deeply-counterbored medium-heavy barrel
- Factory-Acraglass bedding of the action and chamber section of the barrel
- A hard black rubber buttplate
This rifle is fitted with Redfield International Match receiver sight and front globe sight, as well as the factory scope blocks.
There is a complete discussion of these rifles in Roger Rule's book on pages 323 and 325.
The bore has no notable pitting and very little wear. There's a small amount of heat damage. It rates an 8 out of 10. Boroscope verified.

The metal is in excellent condition, with no notable dings or gouges. The bluing is dark and even showing only minor wear in a few spots.
The jeweled bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver. The rifle appears 100% original with no modifications.
