This is a .243 Winchester featherweight barrel, manufactured in 1955.
Bluing - 90% - The bluing on this barrel has begun to wear slightly. There is some bluing wear along the barrel crown and some slight fading in certain areas, but overall, the barrel has maintained a nice and even finish.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in excellent condition. There are some very minor scratches across the barrel, but no significant nicks or other forms of metal damage.
Bore - 7/10 - The rifling is bright and smooth but has begun to show some signs of normal wear. There are a couple very small spots of minor pitting in the bore, but no significant nicks or other forms of metal damage were seen upon inspection. Borescope verified.
