This .270 WCF standard rifle was produced in 1950. It is a high-condition rifle in original factory finishes and configuration. It grades in NRA excellent condition.
The stock retains its factory finish in near-perfect condition and the factory steel buttplate is intact with no visible wear. There are no cracks or stains in the wood and the checkering is crisp and unblemished. There are a few small handling marks on inside of the grip, and on the left side below the Winchester trade mark in the receiver, as shown in the photos. The original bluing is near perfect at 99% with no notable wear or blemishes. The bore of the 24" barrel is bright with strong rifling and would support an argument for this rifle being unfired. It is our opinion that our disassembly of this rifle for photography was the first time the stock had been removed from this rifle since it left the Winchester factory.
NOTE: This rifle must be shipped to an FFL or C&R holder who can complete the transfer. If needed, we are happy to assist you in locating an FFL holder near you who receive and transfer the rifle to you.
