This is a .270 Winchester Featherweight barrel that has been modified with the additional of a barrel band sling swivel and the removal of sights. The rear dovetail was filled, the front ramp was removed. 22" long.
Bluing - Re-Blued - The barrel has been re-blued with what appears to be a traditional rust blue. This finish is in excellent condition, with a deep satin finish.
Metal - there are a few tooling marks around the barrel band and a gap around the filled rear sight dovetail, but no other significant marks of metal damage.
Bore - 8/10 - There is wear in the throat, but the rifling is still bright and smooth and there is no pitting. Borescope verified.
