This .270 Win standard rifle was produced in 1952 - the heyday of model 70 production. This has been refinished - the stock and metal. It is in excellent condition and will make an excellent shooter for someone not looking for a rifle in collectible condition.
The stock retains has been refinished with a vented recoil pad added. There are minor handling marks on the stock, but nothing significant. The metal parts are all reblued, with a high polish and a deep oxide black color. The bluing appears to be professionally done. The bore of the rifle is in excellent condition with no pitting, erosion or fouling - it grades an 8 out of 10 under borescope inspection.
NOTE: This rifle must be shipped to an FFL or C&R holder who can complete the transfer. If needed, we are happy to assist you in locating an FFL holder near you who receive and transfer the rifle to you.
