This is a .308 Winchester featherweight barrel, manufactured in 1953.
Bluing - 95% - The bluing on this barrel is in excellent condition, with very few marks or signs of wear. The most notable wear is at the barrel crown, but it is very slight. This barrel has been very well preserved.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in excellent condition. There are some very minor scratches across the barrel, but no significant nicks or other forms of metal damage. The front of the sight hood insert on the sight ramp is slightly damaged but still fully functional.
Bore - 8/10 - The bore shows minimal signs of wear. The rifling is bright and smooth but does show some light signs of regular wear. There are no signs of pitting or other metal damage throughout the bore. Borescope verified.
