This is a type-I bolt housing for a .22 Hornet rifle.
Handle bluing - 95% - The handle bluing on this bolt shows minimal signs of wear on the bolt knob and along the edges of the handle.
Metal - This bolt is in excellent overall condition. There are no significant marks or nicks on the bolt shaft or face. A slight relief radius has been cut into the bolt handle for scope clearance.

NOTE: While model 70 bolts may appear to be interchangeable, to safely replace the bolt in a rifle requires the action to be checked for proper headspacing and lug seating. This is a simple procedure which can be performed in a matter of minutes by a qualified gunsmith.
