This is a .220 Swift standard barrel manufactured in 1949. The barrel is made of stainless steel.
Finish - 75% - The barrel has substantial loss of finish, primarily under the stock. There is also a worn spot on top of the barrel, a few inches behind the front sight ramp.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in good condition. There are no deep gouges or dings.
Bore - 8/10 - The bore has modest throat wear and no pitting. Borescope verified.
