This is a .243 Winchester Featherweight barrel. It is not marked with a manufacturing date; it has the number 7 front sight ramp, indicating it was manufactured between 1958 and 1963.
Bluing - 80% - There is a notable section, mostly under the stock line, that has been rubbed and scrubbed with almost no bluing remaining. There is also some finish wear at the muzzle and on the shank.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition; there are a few minor scratches and light freckling.
Bore - 7/10 - There is no notable pitting, but it has considerable throat wear. Borescope verified.
