This is a .270 W.C.F standard barrel from a standard 1949 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 85% - The bluing on this barrel shows some signs of wear. The finish has begun to fade slightly throughout the barrel, and there are a couple spots where the bluing has been rubbed off.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in very good condition. There are some minor scratches, nicks, and small spots of pitting towards the base of the barrel, but no other significant marks of metal damage.
Bore - 6/10 - The bore shows notable signs of wear. The rifling is still bright and smooth, but there are spots of light pitting throughout the length of the bore. Borescope verified.
