This is a .270 Win. standard barrel from a 1953 Model 70 rifle. This barrel was previously polished and reblued.
Bluing and Metal - At some point this barrel was polished and re-blued. The metal has a smoother, more polished appearance than the factory finish. The bluing is dark and even. There were few small dings and scratches that show through the new bluing.
Bore - 7/10 - The bore has some throat wear and minor heat cracking, along with a few scattered pits. Borescope verified.
