This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1955 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 85% - This barrel has some finish wear at the muzzle and some general thinning and wear.
Metal - There is a notable ding on the top of the barrel. There are no other dings, gouges, or other metal damage.
Bore - With some throat wear but no pitting, we rate this bore as an 8 out of 10. The rifling is bright and smooth throughout the length of the barrel. Borescope verified.
