This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel produced between 1955 and 1957 that has been rechambered to 35 Whelen Improved. The correct chambering is marked on the bottom of the barrel, underneath the chamber.
Bluing - Reblued - This barrel has been reblued by the Pre64 team and is in near perfect condition. There is no wear in the new bluing.
Metal - This barrel is in excellent condition, with no notable scratches, dings, or other damage.
Bore - With almost no throat wear and just a few scattered shallow pits, we rate this bore a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
