This is a Type-III bolt housing with a face for standard cartridges.
Handle bluing - The bluing has light wear and fading.
Bolt Body - The body is in excellent condition. There are no significant marks or nicks on the bolt shaft or bolt face. There is a serial number marked on the bolt body.

NOTE: While model 70 bolts may appear to be interchangeable, to safely replace the bolt in a rifle requires the action to be checked for proper headspacing and lug seating. This is a simple procedure which can be performed in a matter of minutes by a qualified gunsmith.
