This is an original Super Grade floor plate from a pre-war standard .22 Hornet Winchester Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - Reblued - This piece has been refinished, though not in the pre64win shop. The finish has no edgewear, fading, or scratches. There is some very subtle unevenness / blotchiness to the bluing color tone.
Metal - There are no dents or scratches to the metal; however, a small area of rust pitting is visible beneath the new bluing, on the hinge tab. Please see photos.
