This stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1948 and 1950. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings. It has been professionally restored in the Pre64win shop.
This stock is in excellent condition with no structural damage such as cracks, splits or chips. It has not been bedded or shortened. It has been recheckered and refinished in the pre64win shop and fitted with a reproduction Winchester recoil pad. The overall effect is that of a brand new stock. There are no scratches, handling marks or wear to the new finish. The only cosmetic blemish is a very small repair in the grip, which was done by a previous owner. Please see photos.
