This is an original Super Grade floor plate from a featherweight Winchester Model 70 rifle. It may have been refinished in the past, though not in the Pre64win.com shop. This floor plate has been modified by a previous owner.
Finish - 95% - The finish on this floor plate is smooth and even, with no edgewear or fading, and just a few very tiny scratches. The only real finish issue is at the tip of the hinge tab, where the bluing has been shaved off. The overall length of the floor plate / hinge tab is not short, only the finish is shaved off.
Metal - There's a gouge in the underside of this floor plate. Please see photos.
