This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1940 standard rifle. The rear bridge and the left side of the receiver have been drilled with two extra holes for scope mounting. The are some additional stampings on the left side of the front ring. Both pieces are marked with the serial number 26000.
Receiver - The receiver bluing is in very good condition with minor wear and fading. There is no pitting or other significant metal damage.
Bolt - The bolt handle has some wear/fading. The bolt body is in very good condition with no significant scratches, nicks, or other forms of metal damage.

If you do not hold an FFL or C&R license, you will need to enlist the services of an FFL to complete the transfer.
