This is a matched receiver and bolt body from a 1960 H&H magnum rifle, for the .300 and .375 H&H magnum cartridges. The receiver and bolt are both marked with serial number 500228.
Receiver - Overall, this receiver is in very good to excellent condition. The original bluing shows a minor wear but is mostly unblemished. There is some light bluing wear in the rails and a light, shallow scratch on the left side, but there are no other significant scratches, nicks, or other forms of metal damage on the receiver. No holes or other modifications have been added to the piece.
Bolt Body - Overall, this bolt body is in excellent condition. The bolt handle bluing has almost no wear, and the bolt body itself shows minimal signs of wear and no signs of metal damage.
