This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1940 standard rifle. The receiver and bolt are marked with the serial number 25789. The rear bridge of the receiver has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount.
Receiver - The receiver bluing has some light wear and there is some surface discoloration on the rear bridge and recoil lug. There are no dings or other metal damage.
Bolt - The bolt handle has a notable worn spot and there are some dings in the knob. The bolt body is in very good condition with no significant scratches, nicks, or other forms of metal damage.
