This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1956 standard rifle. Both pieces are marked with the serial number 393489; the markings on the bolt are worn. Both the receiver and bolt body have the original finish.
Receiver - Overall, this receiver is in very good condition. The receiver bluing is original; showing wear on the rails, on the front ring, on the rear bridge, and in the tang area. There are no notable scratches, dings or other metal damage. There are no extra holes or modifications to the receiver.
Bolt Body - The bolt body is in very good condition. The bolt handle has some bluing loss. The bolt body has no significant scratches, nicks, or other forms of metal damage on the piece.
