This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1956 standard rifle. Both pieces are marked with the serial number 377267; the markings on the bolt are worn. The receiver and bolt have been polished and refinished at some time in the past.
Receiver - Overall, this receiver is in very good condition. The receiver was polished and refinished; it shows some wear on the rails, on the front ring, on the rear bridge, and in the tang area. There are no notable scratches, dings or other metal damage. There are no extra holes or modifications to the receiver.
Bolt Body - The bolt body is in very good condition. The bolt handle has some bluing loss and there are light scratches in the bolt body but no significant nicks or other forms of metal damage on the piece.
