This is a .220 Swift standard rifle produced in 1957 with a serial number of 395699. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver.

The original bluing on the rifle is very good, grading at better than 90% with almost no edge wear or thinning of the bluing. There is some minor wear on the bolt components. There are no deep scratches, dings, or other damage to the metal.

The bore of the 26" stainless barrel is in very good condition with no pitting and almost no throat wear. We grade the bore a 9 out of 10.

The Monte Carlo stock has an original finish and just a few light handling marks. There are no gouges, splits, or cracks. The stock has not been shortened and it retains its original steel buttplate. The checkering is in excellent condition remaining crisp and sharp. The finish has an original appearance but may have been refinished.
