This is a 1956 Featherweight rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. The receiver and bolt are marked with matching serial numbers - 370307.
The metal is in very good condition with an original factory finish, only minor scratches and very little bluing wear. The aluminum bottom metal is still mostly dark, with a few small scratches. There is some light finish wear on the bolt components, receiver rails, and at the muzzle.
The stock is original to the rifle with a Monte Carlo comb and a Pachmayr recoil pad. There is handling wear, including some shallow dents just in front of the floorplate on the butt. There are no significant repairs, cracks, or staining. The checkering is in very good condition.
The bore of the 22" barrel has no throat wear and a just few pits near the muzzle, rating a 9 out of 10 under borescope examination.
