This is a standard rifle chambered in .257 Roberts, produced in 1950. The rifle retains the original factory finishes and has no added holes or other modifications. The receiver and bolt are both marked with serial number 132081.
The stock is original in all respects with some handling wear but no significant cracks, gouges, splits, or repairs. There are shallow dings, rubs, and scratches. It retains its original steel butt plate, which has bluing wear and some pits. The checkering is in very good condition with light wear.
The original bluing is in very good condition. The receiver bluing has wear on the rails and in the tang area. The bolt handle has wear and light freckling. The barrel has light wear at the muzzle. The bottom has edge wear and light freckling. The are no notable dings, pitting, or deep scratches in the metal.
The bore of the 24" barrel has just a little wear and a few shallow pits, rating an 8 out of 10. Borescope verified.
