This is a very clean .264 Winchester Magnum Featherweight rifle produced in 1961. The rifle has all original finishes and grades in NRA excellent condition. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver; both are marked with serial number 537616.
The bluing grades at 90% and is in excellent condition with only light wear on the bolt components and slight fading on the floorplate. The metal is in excellent condition with no significant scratches, dings, freckling, or other defects.
The 22" barrel has some wear but no pitting. It grades at an 8 out of 10 upon borescope inspection.
The stock retains its original finish and is in excellent condition with just a few light handling marks. There are no cracks, gouges, or stains. The checkering is crisp and clean. The factory-original recoil pad is also in excellent condition.
