This is a .264 Winchester Magnum Featherweight rifle produced in 1962. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver; both are marked with serial number 550473.
The bluing grades at 90% or better and is in excellent condition with only light wear on the bolt components and in the tang area. The metal has a few light scratches but no significant dings, freckling, or other defects. The aluminum bottom has some fading and shallow scratches.
The 22" barrel has no pitting but with moderate throat wear it grades at a 7 out of 10. Borescope verified.
This stock appears to wear its original factory finish in very good condition. There are notable handling marks, scratches, scuffs and dings, but no cracks, splits, chips, repairs or other damage. The checkering is original; clean and unblemished with a few flat spots around the edges. The original vented recoil pad remains pliable with no cracks or dryness.
