This .270 Win standard rifle was produced in 1951. It is beautiful rifle in original factory finishes and configuration. It grades in NRA very good to excellent condition.
The stock is unmodified and retains its factory finish. There are no cracks or stains in the wood and the checkering is crisp and unblemished. There are a few small honest handling marks, but no noteworthy gouges or other damage. The factory steel buttplate is intact with heavy bluing wear. The original bluing is excellent at 95% with minor edge wear on the sight hood, muzzle and bottom metal. There are also a few minor scratches through the bluing on the floor plate.. The bore of the 24" barrel is bright with strong rifling.
