This is a vintage scope block for the front of the receiver, commonly found on target / marksman model 70 rifles. It is the mounting point for the rear turret of a target scope. The height is 0.185”. Conditions range from NRA excellent to new. For blocks with screws, the screws are original with few to no tool marks.
