Complete rifle rebluing, done via black oxide (hot caustic salts). This process produces a deep blue-black colored finish. This process very closely replicates the factory finish Winchester used on barrels and bottom metal after 1941. Pricing includes disassembly, cleaning, metal polished to customer specifications, rebluing and reassembly.
Note -the aluminum Featherweight bottom metal and buttplates cannot be blued; factory Featherweight bottom metal was anodized. We will apply epoxy or lacquer-based finishes to these parts.
