Stock refinishing includes complete stock restoration, finished with a boiled linseed oil based refinish system with no stain added, and hand applied - not sprayed. This finish system is not intended to be a replication of the original pre-64 Winchester stock finish, but results in a beautiful and durable finished product which displays the natural grain and color of your walnut stock. Refinishing price includes remedy of minor scratches, dents and other minor wood blemishes. It does not include remedy of cracks, deep gouges, or other major repair work. The price also does not include refinishing a steel buttplate. Your checkering will not be sanded or recut during refinishing.
All photos are of stocks refinished in our shop. As you can see, even badly weathered stocks can be salvaged!
