The Winchester 22G spring sight was issued on rifles with the low-comb stock through 1953. This sight was generally paired with the Winchester 3C sight elevator.
In 1954 Winchester switched to the 22K spring sight for rifles with low comb stocks, of which there were two versions. The low version of the 22K is nearly identical to the 22G and will work interchangeably.
