This early pre-war stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1936 and 1941. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1936 and 1948. It has been professionally restored in the Pre64win shop.
This gorgeous stock is in extremely good condition with no cracks, chips, gouges, scratches, oil stains or other damage. It carries the extra fine checkering of the early pre-war era, with 20 lines per inch. The checkering has been refreshed to restore it to original condition. The stock has also been refinished and the original steel buttplate reblued. This stock had a factory notch about 1" long opposite the bolt handle, to accommodate a receiver sight. We have filled this notch, but it is still visible. The length of pull remains standard, at 13-5/8".
