This stock is originally from a .300 H&H magnum rifle produced between 1941 and 1948. It will fit all .300 H&H rifles produced between 1936 and 1948 with a standard barrel contour, and all standard caliber rifles from the same era with a standard barrel contour.
This stock has been refinished and is in near perfect condition. It has been fitted with a black aftermarket recoil pad. The length of pull has been shortened slightly from the standard 13-5/8" to 13". There is a crack in the recoil lug area that has been repaired; the repair is solid. There are no notable chips, cracks, or other damage. The original checkering is in very good condition.
