This excellent condition stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1948 and 1950. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963 other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings.
This stock wears its original factory finish in beautiful condition, with only minor handling marks and light surface blemishes. It has no cracks, chips, gouges, deep scratches, or past repairs. The checkering is crisp and clean with no cosmetic flaws. The stock has not been bedded.
This stock has been shortened to 12-1/8" and fitted with a black Pachmayr recoil pad, which remains soft and pliable, in excellent condition. This is a perfect stock for a young or small-of-stature hunter.
