This is a factory-original, low comb stock from a standard rifle produced between 1948 and 1950. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963 other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings.
The stock retains its original finish, with plenty of character in the form of scratches, scuffs, and dings. The wood adjacent to the buttplate is discolored and darkened. This appears to be damage from having been stored long-term standing on a damp floor on its buttplate. The end result is somewhat weathered-looking stock with great character. The checkering is still in very good condition, with no major blemishes.
This stock has 1 crack repair which is sound. It has not been bedded, and the length of pull is standard, at 135/8".
LOP: 13 5/8"
