This stock is originally from a standard rifle produced between 1950 and 1958. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings.
This stock came to us with a lot of handling wear and has been fully restored in the pre64win shop. This work includes a crack repair, recheckering, and refinishing. The new finish is smooth and unblemished, without scratches, dents, dings or other cosmetic flaws. The fresh checkering is clean and crisp. The steel buttplate has also been professionally reblued in our shop. This stock has not been bedded, shortened, or had any other modifications, aside from the restoration work.
