This is a low comb stock originally from a standard rifle produced between 1950 and 1958. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings.
This gorgeous stock wears its original finish in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips, splits, dents, oil stains, past repairs or significant cosmetic flaws. The finish is smooth and even with no peeling, and just a few very small light scratches and handling marks. The steel buttplate wears original bluing with some scattered pitting. The checkering remains sharp and clean. It has never been repaired, bedded, or otherwise modified. Overall this is just a beautiful original stock in pristine condition.
