This is a gorgeous Monte Carlo style stock from a standard rifle produced between 1951 and 1959. It will fit all standard rifles made between 1948 and 1963 other than the H&H magnum and .458 magnum chamberings. It has been fully restored in the Pre64win shop, including re-checkering and re-finishing.
This stock is special, in that it wears an original Winchester factory recoil pad containing a typo in the date, "PAT JUNE 6,1922" (with no space between day and year). The error has become something of a badge of honor, and reproduction pads do not have it. This style of smooth factory pad was replaced with a ribbed pad starting in 1959.
The stock presents in pristine condition with no cracks, chips, scratches, dents, oil stains or any notable cosmetic flaws. It has no past repairs and has never been bedded. The length of pull is standard, at 13-5/8".
LOP: 13-5/8"
