This stock is originally from a .300 H&H magnum rifle produced between 1951 and 1961. It will fit all .300 H&H rifles produced between 1948 and 1963, with a standard barrel contour. It has been modified to be used with Sunnyhill bottom metal.
This stock is structurally very sound with no cracks, gouges, deep scratches or past repairs. The checkering remains in excellent condition, clean and unblemished with a few slightly flat spots. It is fitted with a vented Pachmayr recoil pad in good condition, and Uncle Mike's style sling studs. The stock appears to wear original factory finish, in good condition with some handling marks. There are light surface scratches, small dents and dings, and a few areas of flaky finish. Please see photos.
This stock has been bedded, which may need relieving in order to fit the next rifle. The length of pull is 14-1/4"
