This stock is originally from a standard rifle produced in 1962 or 1963. It will fit all standard rifles produced between 1948 and 1963, other than the H&H magnums and .458 magnum.
This stock is almost like new, with its factory-original hard rubber buttplate, and original finish in pristine condition. It has not been bedded or modified. There are no cracks, dents, gouges or major scratches. The stock appears almost untouched except for a very few small blemishes, such as a tiny chip to the underside where the wood meets the buttplate. (Please see photos.) The checkering is very sharp and crisp with no dents or flat spots. The checkering panels are small, indicative of a 1962 - 1963 manufacture date.
