This custom stock came to us on a Winchester model 70 featherweight rifle. It has action inletting that appears original, and has a barrel channel for a factory Featherweight barrel. It will fit all featherweight rifles produced between 1952 and 1963.
The Monte Carlo stock is in excellent condition with no cracks, splits, dents, gouges or past repairs. It features a cheek rest, flared grip, and smooth, checkering-free style. The wood has a beautiful grain pattern with contrasting grip cap and fore end tip. The finish is somewhat glossy and in very good condition with light handling marks, scratches, and dings, but no major cosmetic blemishes. The quarter-inch Pachmayr recoil pad is soft and pliable with no notable wear. The length of pull is a hint short, 13-3/8".
