This is a .22 Hornet standard rifle produced in 1949. The receiver and bolt are both marked with serial number 110046 (faint on the bolt). The rifle has been previously re-blued and thin recoil pad has been added to the stock. The sling swivels have been replaced with a more modern stud, and the rear sight is not original.

The refinished low comb stock is in very good condition with light handling marks but no notable cracks, splits, deep gouges, or other damage. The 1/2" recoil pad is in very good condition. The checkering is clean and crisp with just a few flat spots. The length of pull is 13&1/2".

The metal was previously polished and re-blued. The finish is dark and even with very little wear. The metal has a few small defects showing through the finish including tiny pits on the receiver rear bridge and some scratches on the trigger guard.

The bore is in excellent condition, no throat wear but a few scattered pits. We rate it a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
