This .220 Swift standard rifle was produced in 1949.
The stock retains its factory finish in very good condition. There are some dings, scratches, and wear marks, but no notable cracks, chips, or repairs. The checkering is clean and crisp with only a few flat spots. The factory steel buttplate is intact with some bluing wear.
The original bluing on the rifle is in very good condition - grading at 95%. There is some minor edge wear.
The 26" barrel has only light wear in the throat and no pitting ( as expected in a stainless steel barrel ), confirmed by borescope examination.
The action is tight with no issues. All parts are original and correct for the period and chambering. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver.
