This is a .220 Swift standard rifle presenting in all factory-original finishes and configurations.  The rifle and bolt are serial number matched with number 417728, indicating a 1957 manufacture date.

The original metal finish is in extraordinary condition - grading at 95%. The barrel is virtually flawless.  There are minor imperfections to the butt plate, bottom metal and some bluing loss to the bolt handle knob, but otherwise the metal finishes are basically perfect.

The barrel has been borescope inspected, revealing only minor wear, and no pitting.  This bore rates a 9 out of 10.

The Monte Carlo style stock retains its original finish in almost perfect condition.  There are a few minor scuffs toward the butt-end of the stock, but otherwise it remains in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, gouges, stains, or major cosmetic blemishes.  The original steel butt plate shows very little bluing loss.  The checkering is sharp and crisp, except for 1 panel with an area of damage (please see photos).

NOTE: This rifle must be shipped to an FFL or C&R holder who can complete the transfer. If needed, we are happy to assist you in locating an FFL holder near you who can receive and transfer the rifle to you.
