This is a 1961 Featherweight rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. The receiver and bolt are marked with matching serial numbers - 533666.
The metal is in very good to excellent condition with an original factory finish, no notable blemishes and very little bluing wear. We rate the bluing at 95%. The aluminum bottom metal is still mostly dark, with some small scratches on the trigger guard and some fading on the floorplate.
The stock is original to the rifle with a Monte Carlo comb and a hard rubber buttplate. The stock is in very good condition with a section of finish damaged on the right side, next to the receiver, and a few small scratches. There are no significant gouges, splits, or other damage. The buttplate has scratches and gouges. The checking is in excellent condition.
The bore of the 22" barrel has no pitting and very little throat wear, resulting in a rating of 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
