This is a .243 Winchester Standard rifle built in 1963. The serial number on the bolt and receiver match. The rifle is in NRA very good to excellent condition.
The Monte Carlo stock has a very beautiful finish that is probably original. There are only a couple of very light handling marks, and no significant chips, cracks, gouges or stains.
The metal is in very good to excellent condition, with a few small scratches and a worn spot on the left side of the receiver.
The bore of the 24" barrel is rated as an 8 out of 10, with only minor wear and almost no evident pits or other issues.
