This is a .264 Winchester Magnum rifle produced in 1961. This stock was refinished sometime in the past, and the entire rifle grades in NRA very good condition. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver.
The finish on the receiver and barrel is in very good condition with a few very light scratches and light edge wear on the muzzle. The bolt handle has some wear on the knob and the bottom metal has a little fading and a few blemishes.
The 26" barrel has almost no wear in the throat and no notable pitting. It easily grades at a 9 out of 10 upon borescope inspection.
The refinished stock has some wear and flaking with numerous small scratches and dings, but no cracks or deep gouges. The checkering has some wear and flat spots. The stock has a Pachmayr White-Line recoil pad that is still soft and not cracked. The stock is bedded to the action.
